- 1 shot Lavazza Qualità Oro (espresso brewed from your capsule machine)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice (preferably blood orange for sweetness and color)
- 1 tsp orange zest (optional, for added aroma)
- 1 tsp honey or simple syrup (optional, to taste)
- Ice cubes (enough to fill your glass)
- Sparkling water (optional, for a lighter texture)
- Orange slice or peel twist (for garnish)
Method
- Brew the Espresso: Brew 1 shot of Lavazza Qualità Oro espresso using your capsule machine. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Orange Base: In a mixing glass, combine the orange juice, orange zest, and honey or simple syrup (if using). Stir to blend the flavors.
- Combine and Chill: Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. Pour the orange mixture over the ice, followed by the cooled espresso.
- Optional Sparkling Finish: If you’d like a fizzy twist, top off the drink with a splash of sparkling water.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a slice of orange or a twist of orange peel. Serve immediately for a crisp, flavorful experience.
