- 1 pack (250g) Giovanni Rana Tortellini Cured Ham & Cheese
- 1 jar (400g) Pomi Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (or 1 large ripe tomato, diced)
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for extra spice)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Method
- Prepare the Base: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). If you prefer extra spice, add chili flakes.
- Add Fresh Tomatoes: Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until they soften and release their juices, creating a fresh, flavorful base.
- Combine the Ingredients: Pour in the Pomi Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce and vegetable or chicken broth. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Cook the Tortellini: Add the Giovanni Rana Tortellini Cured Ham & Cheese directly into the pot. Stir gently to coat the tortellini with the sauce. Cover the pot and cook over medium-low heat for about 4-5 minutes, or until the tortellini is tender and cooked through.
- Adjust the Seasoning: Taste the sauce and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and stir until melted and well combined.
